You meet a total stranger for the first time and your heart skips a beat- Infatuation. Nothing could go wrong until the day after your first love making. Then you notice the scare on that person’s face which has been there all the while. He’s too short or she’s too skinny for me…and then heart break follows.
Infatuation is a precursor to love. So why is my friend Chioma telling me that she’ll know her true love when meets him? Her true love may as well end the day after.

Na... true love is not that easy to find and when its right then the day after is even better. If you want to shoot yourself the day after then run like Lot but dont look back!
True talk..
People often confuse being inlove with being in love with love...
Am i making sense.
...there is a polemic difference between love and infatuation...why, or how...
love does not see -'to short, or too skinny...' it only sees the beauty nothing else.
Infatuation resembles love... but can't tolerate... it is impatient and snappy.
I couldn't have said it better myself. In as much as I want to agree with you, I beg to differ. In the beginning, aren't we all taking a chance at heartbreak? To tolerate and to be patient with someone demands time, breakups and makeups. My buddy here thinks there's such thing as "love at first sight" without the headaches that comes with it. That's where I disagree with her.
